Problem retrieving data from indicator

Hi -

Find attached a strategy and an indicator. We want to calculate some data from the indicator and return those values back to the strategy (in a Result class). However, even though the properties in the Result class are being properly set, when they are returned to the strategy, the values are always zero.

Please explain how I can get these values out of the indicator into my strategy.

If you plan to expose a public property that is not a plot you would need to use the Update method in the public properties get. You can see an example of exposing a public property documented here:

When you set the value to your property from the indciator and then call it from a host that has no context of a specific bar, you would have to use Update to get the indicator up to date when the public property is called.
