Hi johnnybegoode, thanks for your post.
The most straight forward way of doing this would be running a script that adds a 1-second series with the AddDataSeries method. You can count the seconds in the 1-second series and execute orders when conditions are met.
There is also an example of a timer in the BarTimer indicator. I found a simplified example here:
