Importing Strategies from Excel

I trade different instruments across different time frames and testing them in the Simulator. I am able to save the Strategies (export to Excel) but I am looking for a way to import the strategies back to NT7. The problem is that when I reset the simulator all the strategies disappear from NT7 and I have to input them manually all of of them separately (with different parameters to boot).Any workaround for this?

Hi sashe71, thanks for your note.

In NinjaTrader 8 you can save a template for the strategy parameters, but this is not an option in NT7. There is no way to load up a batch of strategies after the Sim101 account is reset they would need to be re-added.

Did you mean that option available in NT8 but not in NT7?

Hi sashe71, yes I apologize, I edited my post to correct. You can right click the strategy settings once they have been set up and save them as the default settings for NT7.

In NT7 you can save the parameters as default, from the chart right click>Strategies>Set up a strategy>Select Save As Default.
