Works when back testing but does not in forward testing

Hi,

I've been working on a strategy for a few months now, I think I might have over complicated it. When I add it into a historical chart, I can see that it's doing all the calculations, drawing the lines and places orders, uses dynamic stops etc.. but when I let it for forward test, it doesn't seem like functioning. I can see any error in logs either. Strategy seems to be still active as well. Any idea what might be the reason or an easy way to figure it out? Other wise I might have to start from scratch and add elements one by one to see what's causing the issue.

Thank you for your note.

I would suggest analyzing where you would expected to have had your strategy take a trade in real time, then add prints to the script as a means of determining what the issue is.

If you try the above and still unable to figure out the issue, please leave the print statements in the script and you can upload a copy and I'll take a look and see if anything jumps out.

To export a NinjaScript from NinjaTrader 8 do the following:
From the Control Center window select Tools -> Export -> NinjaScript...
Click Add>Select the indicator>OK>Export.
Then attach that file you saved; under My Docs>NT8>Bin>Custom>Select the downloaded .zip file.
