    Automated Strategy - Losong positions show as "Profit Target"

    Hi Support

    I am running my automated strategy in Market Replay and noticed that i am getting some "long" and "short" positions exiting at a loss but the "exit name" is saying "Profit target".
    This is happening randomly and not on a specific signal, or entry name as can be seen from the pics below.

    Strategy is set to exit and close all positions on session close, or by hitting profit target, as can be seen, some positions exit on session close but randomly other positions exit on "Profit target" which is not actually a profit target, but a loss.

    Also on the "Summary" page, will those losing positions interfere with the Strategy Performance figures listed?

    Hello TrendFollowingCapital,

    From the images it appears the orders were paired based on the order they were submitted, do you have a sample of the logic used to submit the orders and targets that I could explore?

    I look forward to being of further assistance.

      Hi Jesse

      Thank you for your reply, strategy does enter multiple pending orders but that does not explain "Profit target"

      Example code:

      EnterShortLimit(xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ,"BackToBase1DOWN");
      SetProfitTarget("BackToBase1DOWN", CalculationMode.Ticks, 50);

      In each instance a Limit order is placed and stays until price hits it, then take profit is triggered. All open positions / pending orders cancel or exit on session close.

      Thank you, Jason

        Hello TrendFollowingCapital,

        Thank you for the reply.

        Yes from the provided information I could not say what may be happening in the image, do you have a sample of the logic you had used so that I could explore the situation in more detail?

        I look forward to being of further assistance.
