Comparing multiple volume charts to determine Long or Short

I am trying to create a strategy that focuses on the overall trend based on a 5000 Volume chart. And based on the 5000 volume, the trend would either short or long on a smaller volume chart. How can I compare the trend based on a higher volume bar to a lower volume bar with Strategy Builder?

In condition builder select Price > Volume on the left. In the center select Greater than. On the right select Price > Volume > set 'Bars ago' to 1.

I think I am understanding the volume logic? I read it as:
Volume must be greater then 1

I need something that reads
Volume per bar is equal to 5000

Do I need to add the value 5000 into the Multiplier and set it to equals?

This would be to compare the volume of the current bar to the volume of the previous bar.

To confirm, you are trying to compare a higher volume bar to a lower volume bar is this correct?

Comparing the volume of the current bar to the volume of 1 bar ago, would let you know if the current bar's volume is greater than the previous bar's volume.

Sorry I might be a little confusing on what I am trying to do. I am trying to set conditions based on a 5000 volume bar chart and then based on the conditions of the 5000 volume bar chart the conditions of a 500 volume bar chart must be met to execute a trade.

So my strategy would for example be like in Strategy Builder:

Group - 5000 Volume Entry Trigger
- EMA above VWAP
- On a 5000 Volume chart
&
Group - 500 Volume Entry Trigger
- EMA crosses above VWAP
Then
Execute Trade

I am just comparing a set of conditions based on one volume frame vs another volume frame.

The strategy builder when applied to a chart will adopt the primary series of the chart as the bars to use. If in your case this is a 500 volume bar chart then in the strategy builder you would need to add a series of 5000 volume bars of the same instrument. You would then create your conditions needed and specify the added dataseries where appropriate.
