Close Position - Strategy Analyzer

Hello, We have a problem running a strategy in the market analyzer and it is that all positions are closed by the signal name "Close position". How can we avoid this?

Thanks for your post.

If you have a strategy that reverses positions, I.E. calling EnterLong when in a short position or vice-versa, we will see an order for a "Close position" followed by an entry for the opposite direction. If you want to reverse your position without this Close position order, you could build an Unmanaged strategy and then submit an order to Buy for twice the quantity that your current position holds.

I have attached an Unmanaged strategy and documentation for the Unmanaged Approach below. The Unmanaged Approach example strategy closely follows the same concepts outlined in the SampleOnOrderUpdate strategy. I would suggest getting familiar with this strategy before getting further involved with the Unmanaged Approach and following the same concepts used in the example.

If you are seeing something else, please clarify on how the strategy is submitting an order which results in the Close position.
