    Unhandled exception: Value does not fall within the expected range

    Hey fellas,

    I keep seeing this error popping up while I'm on the Strategy Analyzer. I created a blank workspace with no other charts so it's coming from somewhere on the Analyzer.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you for the post.

    I wanted to check, do you see this error only with the strategy you have pictured or with all strategies? Also, is this only happening during the Optimization or does this come up with Backtest as well?

    Based on the error, this could be one of the values shown in the optimizer being outside of the allowable range.

      I just changed over to Standard and the Sample MA Crossover and I see the error there too.

        Thank you for the reply.

        For this item, please send an email to platform support [at] ninjatrader.com with a link to this thread for further assistance. I would like to review your log and trace files to see if I can gather more details surrounding the error.

        Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log to your email:
        • Open your NinjaTrader folder under My Documents.
        • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
        • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments with your email.
        • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.

          Hey fellas,
          This error is popping up so often that I'm going to try to completely reinstalling ninjatrader first. Maybe blasting out the directories and startingq from scratch will clear it. I'll let you know.

            Thank you for the reply.

            If you do this prior to sending the log and trace files we may not know what is actually happening. If you dont need to know and just want to see the error resolve you can certainly try reinstalling but I am unsure if that will or will not help.

            I would still suggest working with our platform support email directly so that we can review your log and trace files in more detail before doing anything destructive to your existing files.
