Saving strategies

Hello. I'm working in the NinjaScriptEditor, and would like to save my strategy as a new version. I update the name at the top in the public class section, but when I save it still shows up in the NinjaScript Explorer under the previous file name. How do I save such that I have access to the newest plus previous versions?

Thanks for your post.

Changing the class name would only show when you apply the strategy from the list of available strategies. The Ninjascript editor will list the files by filename. It is recommended that both filename and strategy name are the same to avoid confusion.

The process to make a copy is, in the Ninjascript editor open the original file. In the code section, right mouse click and select "save as". In most cases, this will automatically change both the strategy class name and the strategy file name to the save as. This will leave the original unchanged and the code shown in the Ninjascript editor would now be the new file.
