macd bollinger bands strategy help

hi everyone

I need some help with a condition for a strategy using the Macd Bollinger bands that i am stuck with. any help will be much appreciated. i have attached some pictures of my problem.

but in general,i am stuck trying to work out how to plot the fast over the upper/lower bands to trigger an entry. i am using the Jumbol bbmacd indicator. which might be the source of my problems. I am just not quite sure

Hi Simon,
If you open the indicator in NinjaScript, you will notice that the dots change colour if the MACD changes direction (row 79 thru 85). Thus, what you need is the IsRising / IsFalling condition, which can be found under "Misc" in the Strategy Builder. NinjaTrader_PatrickH provided an example using the StrategyBuilder example here:

Hello Simon, thanks for your note.

I attached a sample that will draw vertical lines on every cross for the default MACD. Since the plots are exposed for the custom MACD indicator, I can't see a reason those plots won't work. To run this add it to Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom\Strategies and compile.
