How to determine Primary Data Series[0]

Hi NinjaTraders,

I apologize in advance for asking this question but... What are the default parameters for primary data series[0] ??
My strategy is a multi-instrument and multi-timeframe but primary data series [0] remains a big mystery to me.
How is the primary data series determined? I don't utilize charts nor draw anything from the code onto charts, just comparing indicator values to my variables.
Is there a way to set the timeframe for primary data series (for example 5 minute timeframe would be set as BarsArray[0]) ?
I am not sure which data series to add to allow backtesting with intrabar granularity not knowing the [0] data series parameters.

My english is not too strong I hope my question is clear enough.

Hello Paco0,

There are no defaults for the primary, you would need to select it when you configure the strategy.

If you are using the control center to apply the strategy, when you configure it you have to select an instrument and timeframe, that would be the primary.
The same would happen in a backtest, when you go to run the test you have to select an instrument which would be the primary.
