Strategy not showing up in list

When I go to add a strategy by right click -> new strategy, my newly created strategy does not show up in the list so that I may select it for trading...

What are some things I should look for to prevent this from happening?

Assuming the strategy has compiled successfully:

Is the file name the same as the strategy (public class) name? In this case, you might be looking for one name and it may be something else. When editing you are opening by file name, when adding the strategy you are looking at the public class name.

When you go to apply the strategy, are any errors showing in the "log" tab of the control center? What can happen is that if you have an error in the OnStateChange() method when you go to New>strategy the OnStateChange() is called and a run-time type error can occur which removes the strategy from the available list as a preventative measure.
