Is a live data feed required for Strategy Analyzer?

Hey fellas -

Quick question..

When running a Standard or Optimization test, does Strategy Analyzer download all the tick data that it needs to perform the Calculations at the start of its run or does it do it intermittently while the Calculation is happening?

The reason I ask is that I have an Optimization running that's going to take many hours to complete. Should that server lose network connectivity so the data feed is interrupted or disconnected, will the Strategy Analyzer stop its current calculation and crash or will it continue to finish its current run?

Thanks for your inquiry.

The Strategy Analyzer will download all data required for the backtest before the backtest starts processing. A connection interruption should not effect the results after a backtest is run.
