Method Group error

Hello,

I am trying to call a filter to my strategy, the indicator is AuGassianFilter which is a trend filter. I placed this code in State == State.DataLoaded but is giving me the Cannot assign to xxx because it is a Method Group error: CS1656, how can I fix this error?

Thanks for your post.

Note that the MACD and StdDev are assigned to a uniquely named instance called macd and sd. You would need to do the same (do not use the exact same name as the indicator unless you change the capitalization, like the MACD macd example).

Also, at the class level you should expect to see a declaration of:
private MACD macd;
private StdDev sd;

You would also need to create a private instance of the filter AuGaussianFilter.

Thanks Paul, but MACD or StdDev are not the ones giving the error, is only the AuGaussianFilter part:
