Strategy Builder performance with multiple instruments

Hello,

I have a question about strategy builder performance - I am looking to create a single strategy with 4-6 conditions and apply this strategy to my custom Instrument List of approx. 500 symbols (hard-coded, not dynamic), would you know if I should expect some performance issues? I would like to execute stop-limit bracket order and route it to my IB account only if all conditions are met for a particular symbol.

Thank you for your post.

Running into some performance issues would be fairly likely when running a strategy on so many instruments simultaneously. That being said, I've got no idea the hardware your PC has, so I don't know how many processors or how much RAM you have available, or what other software you have running on your PC. I'd give it a try in simulation mode first and see how your computer does before running it with a live account.

I am so used to working with cloud solutions that I didn't even realize that the performance here will be dependent on my HW.
