Reading Color for down bars value from Data Series Config window

One can set the color of the up and/or down bars in a chart using the "Color for down bars" parameter and the "Color for up bars" parameter in the Data Series configuration window.

Using code, is there a way to read the Brushes values that have been set in the Data Series configuration window?

Thanks for your post.

I just wanted to clarify, are you wanting to retrieve the brush colors for use in setting other colors or are you looking to see if a particular bar is an up bar or a down bar. In the case of the later, you would only need to check if Close[0] > Open[0] (up bar) or Close[0] < Open[0] ( a down bar).

You can use ChartBars.Properties.ChartStyle.UpBrush and ChartBars.Properties.ChartStyle.DownBrush.

Example:
