Getting the Account for a Strategy

Hi,

I have an Account Object named myAcct that I use to look through orders. I have hard-coded the SIM101 account into the strategy code using:

private Account myAcct	= Account.All.FirstOrDefault(x => x.Name == "Sim101");

However, as I will need to apply this strategy to other accounts, How do I programmatically get the account that the strategy is attached to.

Thank you for the post.

Generally, you would only access the account how you have shown from other scopes such as an Indicator or Addon which do not have an associated account. I would suggest removing this syntax from your Strategy and instead just use "Account".

When using a strategy, you can simply use "Account" in place of myAcct that you have now. The Account property will be the Account the strategies is using for its trades.
