    Dear Team,
    How to define the How to define lower shadow line is longer than upper shadow line in strategy builder ?

    I mean the shadow of candlestick.

    Thank you for your post.

    When you refer to the "shadow" of the candle, do you mean the wick?

    If so, you could use offsets to find the length of each wick. This would be different between up and down bars, however. For Up bars, to get the upper wick you'd want to subtract the Close from the High and subtract the Low from the Open to get the lower wick. You could then compare these to see which is greater.

    For example, here's what I would do to get the upper wick's size:

      Yes,I mean how to define the tail is longer than the wick in strategy builder,I mean the lower wick longer than the upper wick.

      can you please give me more detail or an example about it?Really appreciate it!

        Thank you for your reply.

        I've attached a very simple strategy builder example that checks if it's an up bar or a down bar and then whether the upper or lower wick is larger and prints to the Output window the results.
