Failure sending mail. The operation has timed out...

Hi there.

I would like to receive email notifications from my live strategies.

I have set up the email services and have successfully tested email delivery. It works fine. Is there anything special I have to consider when sending emails from a strategy?

I have SendMail statements inside Bars in Progress, and in OnExecutionUpdate.

My SendMail() looks similar to this:
SendMail("[email protected]", Instrument.FullName + ";" + Bars.BarsPeriod + ";Position:" + Position.Quantity ,"");

Occasionally it has worked but lately I am only receiving the error alerts from the thread title in the Output Window and Log.

This is part of the trace file.
2018-02-22 08:02:06:882 ERROR: Fehler beim Senden der Email: Failure sending mail. The operation has timed out.
2018-02-22 08:14:06:254 Server.HdsClient.Connect: type=IS server='is-us-001.ninjatrader.com' port=31658 system='NT'

Any ideas what it could be?

1) a link to this thread,
2) Your email provider
3) Your email provider,
4) Attach the log and trace files for the day in subject which you can find in My Documents>NinjaTrader8>Log and My Documents>NinjaTrader8/Trace folders.
