Email notification on connection loss

How do I get an email notification once my connection goes down (other than a logout/sign-out)?

You would need for the connection to come back up, but then you could call SendMail() from OnConnectionStatusUpdate().

If you are referring to the internet connection itself (and not a data providers connection to NinjaTrader), you could always signup for a service (many free ones out there, uptimerobot for instance) that sends a ping and/or http request to your ip address. The response to the request, or lack thereof, confirms your connection's status and you can be emailed if the connection is down. If you mean a data connection (e.g., not your internet connection) then you can do that in OnConnectionStatusUpdate(). If you mean what if your data providers app shuts down, then you can check the box under Options=>General=>"Email log alert messages to" (note you'll need to setup your email in NT as a 'share service').
