All Results of Genetic optimization

Hello,
I am facing the following issue. When I run a genetic optimization of e.g. 25 generations and 50 generation size the strategy analyzer runs through 1250 (25*50) combinations (which I can see in the progress bar).

I set the number for "Keep best # results" to 1250.

But when the optimization has run through it shows me only a few results (like 30). How can I get all 1250 results?

I appreciate any help.

When doing a Genetic Optimization in the strategy analyzer in NT8, the number of best results will have a ceiling of the generation size. The reasoning is that the top results will only be found in the last ran generation. This is how the Genetic Optimization option in the Strategy Analyzer is intended to function.

For example, if Keep Best # of Results is set to 100, but Generation Size is set to 5, you should expect to see only 5 of the best results.

In your case, if Keep Best # of Results is set to 1250, but Generation Size is set to 50, only up to 50 of the best results will be seen.
