Enter long position crossing a ema

Good morning: I'm trying to open a long position when the price (Renko bar) crosses above an EMA, but I want that this crossing occurs in the penultimate candle. I have used the following formulas: a) Price, two bars ago, crosses over EMA. b) Price crosses, look bar period 2, EMA. But I cannot get it.

Our NinjaTrader Support is not able to assist with a custom calculation or formulate, but I am able to assist with understanding if this condition is evaluating as true or false and why.

This thread will remain open for any community members that would like to assist with the calculations or formulas.

Regarding the condition, you can use a print that prints the time of the bar and all values used in the condition set that places the order to find out why that condition evaluated as true or false.
