    Why do I always get error window plus NT8 crash right after I edit the strategy?

    Why do I always get error window plus NT8 crash right after I edit the strategy on the control window...it only happens if a strategy is on n i toggle it off and edit something and turn it back on then il get a window that aborts the program?

    This would not be expected behavior and we would want to review your Log and Trace files to look into this further.

    Please send me your log and trace files so that I may look into what occurred.

    You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Email Support

    Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.

    Please list 'ATTN: Patrick H - 2103651' in the subject line and reference this thread in the body of your email.

        Thank you for your response.

        Please manually attach the files in an email from your email client as the Help --> Email Support function may not be sending out the email as needed.
        • Open your NinjaTrader folder under My Documents.
        • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
        • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments in your email to platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com with 'ATTN: Patrick H - 2103651' in the subject line and a reference to this thread in the body of the email.
        • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.

              Thank you for your response.

              Tickets you open with our support should not be closed until confirmed resolved by the user. I have found a previous inquiry of yours back in January concerning a huge number of executions on the chart from strategies that result in a crash with a ticket ID of 2063188. Is this forum post in relation to that ticket? Did the reset of the simulation account resolve that matter?

              Accounts and trade executions should not be related to exporting NinjaScript files but perhaps the crashing is due to an underlying item that has not been identified. I will re-open your prior inquiry and send you a response. I would still need your more updated Log and Trace files for the exporting crashes you are seeing.

                if my nt8 hasnt crashed in a while will it still show the problem in the log files?
