Why are my trades getting closed on the same bar as the entry?

Hi all,

I can't figure out what am I doing wrong. My stop loss and stop profit are:

SetStopLoss(CalculationMode.Price, entryPrice - 3);
SetProfitTarget(CalculationMode.Price, entryPrice+ 6);

Thank you for the post.

How are you currently generating the entryPrice variable? The way you have this written seems a little strange, were you trying to use the price plus a number of ticks or specifically 3 and 6 dollars?

The entryPrice is a parameter which I calculate in real time. Specifically, at the moment, it's the first hour low.

Are you certain the price being calculated is what you are expected based on the bars type being used?

The details provided are minimal so I am not certain of the fill here without all of the details. It is possible for an entry to occur in the same bar as its target depending on the prices at that time and the prices of the entry/target. If the bar allowed for the entry price and exit price, it very likely should have been entered and filled in the same bar. Can you provide more details or an image of the fill in question?
