Draw.ArrowUp in wrong panel

Hi,

I have an indicator that uses Draw.ArrowUp() to draw arrows on the chart, and the main part of the indicator is displayed in its own panel. When the indicator is used on a chart then it works . . displaying the arrows on the price panel.

When the indicator is displayed within a strategy, or displayed on a chart that has also has a strategy then the arrows are displayed on the indicator panel and not the price panel.

Is there a setting within a strategy that prevents the arrows appearing in the correct panel?

Hello IanC28,

When adding a strategy to a chart you are not able to select the panel.

What input series is used for the strategy?

Are you selecting the panel the indicator is added to from the indicator instance instantiated by the strategy?


I am not able to reproduce this behavior using a simple test script.

If you import and enable the attached test strategy on a chart are you finding the dot is being drawn on the price panel or the indicator panel?

I copied your

IsOverlay = false;
DrawOnPricePanel = true;

and this seems to have resolved the issue.
