What do you mean specifically by setting the ID? Do you mean the display name in the indicators/strategy window?

yes, but as coding in NT8.

The display name will be set inside the scripts OnStateChange method inside State.SetDefaults with the "Name" property. You would pass in whatever you wanted the name to be as a string.

Example:

protected override void OnStateChange()
{
    if (State == State.SetDefaults)
    {
        Name = "ThisWillBeTheIndicatorsDisplayName";
    }

}
