Closing positions via unmanaged approach
Hi, I have a strategy that issues several limit orders. At a certain time of day I want to close out all outstanding orders and reverse any open positions. I know to close the orders via CancelOrder(). But how do I identify which positions are "active" so I can close them with a SubmitOrder() in the opposite direction? thanks!Tags: None

Hello pman777,
You would need to track orders being placed with variables or array if you want to call CancelOrder() on them.
An example you may find helpful that calls CancelOrder() is ProfitChaseStopTrailUnmanagedExample.
To close an open position you can submit an order in the opposite direction of the position.
For example
Code:if (Position.MarketPosition == MarketPosition.Long) SubmitOrderUnmanaged(0, OrderAction.Sell, OrderType.Market, Position.Quantity); if (Position.MarketPosition == MarketPosition.Short) SubmitOrderUnmanaged(0, OrderAction.Buy, OrderType.Market, Position.Quantity);
