Hi, can you provide an example of how to use ExitLongLimit / ExitShortLimit. The way I'm using it now is being ignored because of the 'internal order handling rules'. My intent is to exit a position at a specified price to avoid slippage, but I'm apparently not doing it correctly. thank you

Thanks for your post.

If you are generating the error message about internal order handling rules then the applicable rules from the help guide are:

"Methods that generate orders to exit a position will be ignored if:

• A position is open and an order submitted by an enter method (EnterLongLimit() for example) is active and the order is used to open a position in the opposite direction
• A position is open and an order submitted by a set method (SetStopLoss() for example) is active".

thanks Paul, I read the rules ... but I'm still not sure what I'm doing wrong. Hence, was wondering if there is an example strategy you can direct me to that uses "ExitLongLimit / ExitShortLimit" that I can study.
