Hello,

sorry for that question (after working 8 years with NT7)...

I´m starting with NT8 right now with strategy builder to get familiar with different logic and it starts with the question why there appears Default Input when I select Close[0] to build a condition?

Thank you for the post.

The Default input will be the Input Series specified within the setup menu of the Strategy. This is by default set to the data series on the chart. See screenshot below:

thank you for your Reply. When I select High in strategy builder then I have the High. When I select Close in strategy builder then I get Default Input(0).

Thank you for the reply.

The strategy builder will display Default input, but if you click View Code and look in the OnBarUpdate method where the generated conditions are, you can see it uses the Close[] series. I will submit a feature request to have this changed to simply display the Close[] series.
