Run optimizer within strategy at set times

Is there any support/examples on how to run an optimizer within a strategy. I have a variable that I want to optimize each week on sunday.

I could do this manually, however, i'd like to be able to program it so that I can even validate that it's a good idea to "continuously" optimize the variable each week.

Thank you for the post.

To clarify, if you mean to call the actual strategy optimizer included with the platform by code, there is currently not a way to do that. I do have a feature request for that which I can add you to.

If you are instead referring to calling the Optimizer type specifically, can you detail that? this would be a different feature request I would need to create. This would also be something I could not detail as there is no suggested way to call an Optimizer type from a strategy in a supported or documented way.

There's gotta be a way to automatically optimize a variable within the strategy. Simone in your coding team should sit and work on it and provide a sample. I've seen threads as far as 2008 requesting this and all you guys keep saying saying is, "we will add this to the feature request."
