Possible to set not to trade during 2 time periods?

Having trouble working out how to say do not trade between time series X. And also saying trade only during time X to X and X to X of the same day.

Worth saying this is something I'm trying to do using the strategy Builder

Thanks for your post.

Rather than mixing and matching when to trade and when not to trade, I think you will find it easier to simply specify the times to trade as an entry condition.

The strategy builder help guide shows an example of a "time filter". Please see, "How to create time filters" https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...on_builder.htm The help guide example shows creating a condition that says to trade between 9:31 and 11:30.

You can create multiple such filters for the various periods you may want to trade and put each one into a different set (along with any other entry conditions).
