Enter depending next bar

In NT7 under the conditions I would set "bars ago = -1" and my input would depend on the next bar. Now, in NT8 "bars ago = -1" does not work.

How can I make the condition of the maximum of -1 is greater than the maximum of 0 enter long in the maximum of 0?

Thank you for your note.

Because a -1 bar index is 1 bar in the future from the current bar, running this in real time would throw an issue. A change in NT8 from NT7 was removing the ability to pass negative bar index values.

The solution would be to wait 1 bar and then check the value of bars ago 0.

Hello Ufesa,

Referencing -1 would be referencing a bar in the future, which would be impossible to execute a long order based on information not known.

If you could provide details on what you mean by do this with the builder I may be able to provide you some information.
