How can I add a specific Commission Template to my Backtest account, so that when IncludeCommission=True, the correct template is used for backtesting?

Thank you for your note.
On the control center>Tools>Commission. On the left side you’ll select the template, for example NinjaTrader Brokerage Direct. Next you’ll want to set the commission per instrument, setting the Minimum Commission>Press okay.
On the Control Center>Accounts Tab>Right click on your sim101 account>Edit. Set the commission Template for that account.
Next in the strategy analyzer, you’ll want to check apply commission.
I have attached screen shots for reference.
Regarding how to best simulate a spread, could you please provide more information on what you are referring to as well as provide an example?
