Output window print limit

Is there a limit to how many lines or how many characters can be printed to single tab of the output window?

Thanks for your post.

NT8 will truncate out old output lines when it reaches 50K lines of output, this would apply to each tab.

When you say -truncate out old lines- , does it mean that it pushes out old lines to make room to print new lines as they come along?

When truncation occurs this will always be the very first line of output in the output tab, just like in NT7:"You have reached the maximum threshold of the NinjaScript Output window. Some of your output messages have been suppressed."

Is there a method that I could use to output print beyond 50K? I need to print about 1M of data. Maybe to a txt file?

I recommend writing that volume of information to a file.
