MFI + MACD Simple strategy (5 min)

Strategy (for longs):
Buy Under these two conditions (ALL):
1. MFI is oversold (under 20)
2. MACD diff went from below 0, to greater than 0.

Stoploss:
Below the candle where long was entered

Take profit conditions (ALL):
1. MFI is over bought
2. MACD diff is smaller than previous bar.


Not sure how to incorporate the stoploss and take profit as it seems to want a specific percentage. Any idea?

Hello mohdhm,

Thank you for your note.

You could set your stop loss as the price of the current low which would be the low the trade was submitted, I have attached a screen shot of how this would look.

For your profit conditions, you would want to create a new set of conditions and actions (press the plus above the view code button when on the conditions and actions page). You would then write the if statements for MFI overbought and MACD diff being smaller than the previous bar (1 bars ago). If these were true you would then set an action for exit long. I attached a screen shot.
