Manual closing ATM position, generated by strategy, terminated strategy.

Hello.
I made strategy.
Strategy generates ATM stop entry order.
I can cancel this order and strategy stay active.

But, after orders filled, manually closing opened position (button "Close" on ChartTrader) terminate strategy (with no errors in OutputWindow, but with standard message: Disabling NinjaScript strategy 'sNinjaBars_Follower/118308815').

I this normal behaviour?

Thanks for writing in to our Support team.

It is expected that manually closing your position by pressing the Close button would terminate your automated strategy.

A NinjaScript strategy is a self contained automated trading system and orders generated are live. If you want to manually cancel an order or close a position, terminate the strategy first. You may re-enable the strategy after terminating it by toggling the Enabled parameter back to true from false.

If you only want to close the ATM's position manually rather than your entire account position, you can accomplish this by clicking on the close button with your middle mouse button instead of the left mouse button. This will leave your automated strategy active while only closing your ATM strategy position.

Additionally, if your profit target or stop orders are still active you could move your profit target manually to close the position being managed by your ATM strategy.
