As the Strategy is being run in real-time. I am interested in Trading two accounts from one strategy, While running trades on my sim101 account also place trades on my real-time account. I also want to track trade performance of the sim101 account, instead of the real-time trade(s).

Are there any Specific Procedures / Best Practices / "Simpsons Did It" Events you can point me to?

You would need to add two instances of the strategy and select different accounts in the account parameters.

Each instance of a strategy can only be run on one account at a time.

Then enable these at the same time.

The goal of them running under the same strategy is to track performance of the sim, and when certain parameters are met the strategy trades real-time; Until it is either there are no real-time positions held, and parameters are no longer met.

Wouldn't trading in 2 instance of strategies make the reference impossible? Is this an add on question?

Hello GTBrooks,

NinjaTrader is not able to track the performance of multiple accounts from a single strategy.

To accomplish this, you would need to create your own system of having multiple strategies communicate. This could be done by creating a static class that both strategies are able to access that update their performance to a variable.

This would be outside of the realm of what is supported by NinjaTrader Support.
