Strategy Builder Order management

I have my Strategy builder to enter a short position on Default Quantity, and I thought that the ATM Stategy would apply the quantity and stop loss and target from there.

The position is being entered ok but with out any stop loss etc ?

I have tried to enter this via Stops and targets, but would prefer to set this up via the ATM. Is there a way to do this ?

Thanks for your post.

There are no means to connect an order issued by the strategy builder to an ATM strategy.

It is possible to do this through a ninjascript coded strategy using special ninjascript ATM methods.

An example strategy can be found in your platform called SampleATMstrategy that demonstrates the usage as well as documents in the code the process and methods involved.

The helpguide has a dedicated section to the special coding needed when using ninjascript to enter an order and then turn over control to an ATM for profit and stoploss control. Reference: http://ninjatrader.com/support/helpG...gy_methods.htm

thank you, is there a guide on how to set up a stop and target in the strategy builder ? The instruction I found only concern the ATM ?
