When a strategy is running live is it possible to see orders placed by it on the chart it is running on?

Thanks for your post.

Yes, if you enable the chart trader and set it to the same account as the strategy, the orders would be displayed. Please see: http://ninjatrader.com/support/helpG...art_trader.htm

If you mean the entry and exits of the trades, then please right mouse click on the chart and select "Data series...". In the Data series window scroll to the bottom and change the "Plot executions" to Text and Markers" or "Markers only" according to your preferences (which can be changed anytime). Also I noticed after I opened Chart Trader it took on an additional position. Is that because the Strategy was already running on the chart before I turned on Chart Trader on it?

Thanks for your reply.

I would not be able to say with the information provided. Just enabling the chart trader would not create and place a new order.

If you look at the "strategy" tab of the control center, it would show your account position and the strategy position which would normally match unless orders had been placed outside of the strategy on the same instrument and same account.
