ATM and Profit.

In Strategy Builder:

1) Can ATM strategies be used?

2) Can a Daily Profit/Loss be specified so the strategy or strategies can stop for the day or any time specified?

Thanks for your post.

There is no means to use ATM strategies from within the strategy builder. You may use ATM strategies with a ninjascript created strategy. A working example is provided in your platform and is named SampleAtmStrategy.

You can access the strategy realized PnL in the conditions builder under the strategy folder. You can also access the active trade (unrealized PnL) as well.

You can control when the strategy enters order by accessing the Time folder in the conditions builder. Please see, "How to create time comparisons" and/or "How to create time filters", here: http://ninjatrader.com/support/helpG...on_builder.htm

Thanks. Can it also simply close out all trades on any number of running strategies if say we meet the profit or loss objective for the day?

No, the strategy is not able to control other strategies.
