First Bar of Session

What I notice is in back testing it does not enter as soon as the session hi or lo is broken but after a close above the hi or below the lo. Can it be made to enter as soon as price crosses the hi or lo? Even though I have used the current price in the builder code.

Hello Trader17,

In historical data, Calculate is always set to OnBarClose.

To trigger actions before a bar closes, it is necessary to trigger actions intra-bar which requires intra-bar granularity or TickReplay.

So I need to make sure that Tick Replay is checked before I add the Strategy on a live chart to be able to take trades intra bar?

Hello Trader17,

Yes, you would need Tick Replay enabled in the Data Series window before enabling the strategy and you would need to set Calculate to either 'On each tick' or 'On price change'.
