NT 8 and IB Gateway method

Hello, if I use "Ninja 8" connected to the Interactive Brokers (IB) Gateway and place orders via the IB Gateway API, can I still use TWS app to see and monitor these orders and associated P&L on these trades? I want to use the IB Gateway API to place orders but use the TWS app to "monitor" live real-time P&L on these trades placed via the Gateway. Is this possible? Also does the TWS platform and IB Gateway connect to the "same" IB API? Thanks in advance. Regards, Rod.

Provided you were connected to the same account connection, you should be able to manage the account as expected in the other application. However, since this would relate to TWS and IB Gateway, I recommend confirming this with Interactive Brokers.
