simple basic questions

Simple questions. I continue to be mystified by NT 8. Not at all intuitively designed, like NT 7 was. See attached file. Two simple questions, I just can't figure them out.

Thank you for your post.

These are pinned instruments. Pinned instruments stay at the top of your list of instrument in the Instrument Selector.


To pin an instrument in the Instrument Selector, hover your mouse cursor over the instrument you wish to pin, then left mouse click the small icon resembling a push-pin laying horizontally that appears next the instrument name. Pinned instruments will display a vertically standing push-pin icon next to their names. You can left mouse click the small vertically standing push-pin icon again to unpin the instrument.

To remove any item from the list of pinned and recently viewed instruments, first hover your mouse cursor over the instrument you wish to remove, then click the Delete key on your keyboard.
