Minute Data Won't Load

I just downloaded Ninjatrader 8 64 bit version and I tried to load a chart with the minute data of a particular stock and it returns a blank screen. I tried it with several stocks as well and I get the same results. I can load the daily values but not the minute values. I tried using My Yahoo and My Google as my feeds.

If I go to Tools and import historical data and I try downloading the minute data it won't download. It downloads the day data just fine. Is it that Google and Yahoo don't support minute data with Ninjatrader? If not are there any free feeds that do and how do I get them to work? Or is there a way I can get it to work with Tradeking/Ally?

Thanks for posting.

This would be expected with Google and Yahoo, as these data providers can only provide data for Daily intervals or higher.

Thanks for your response. I noticed that Continuum offers live data and it says on their website

"You can always use NinjaTrader for FREE and benefit from:"
...
"Real-Time Scanner"

(which would be different than real time data I suppose).

I signed up and logged into it with ninjatrader. It still doesn't give me minute or live data, just daily data. To be sure it's getting its feed from Continuum I disconnected all other feeds. I tried it with both MyContinuum and with MyNinjaTrader Continuum and I get the same results. I know that it acknowledges the password as being correct because it doesn't complain that the password is wrong but if I purposely put in a wrong password and try to connect it complains. Why can't I still get live data?

Is it that I have to pay to get real-time data with Continuum?

So that I may investigate I would ask that you contact me by email at PlatformSupport [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com. In your message please include a link to this forum thread and a copy of today's trace files. You will find these diagnostic files in the Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > Trace folder. I will need to review a copy of the files which are named 'trace.20170508.XXXXX.txt'. There will likely be multiple files for each day.
