I heard from friends that its not possible to use the strategy analyser for Renko bar is this true?

Can I use Range bars for the strategy analyser?

Where can I find the Distribution in the strategy analyser in NT8?

Thanks for writing in.

It is not recommended to use price based bars for back testing. As back-testing is based off of OHLC values and Renko and Range bars form based off of a brick size or after a range has been broken, there can be prices that are missed in the formation of the bar.

I am not aware of a Distribution performance metric in the Strategy Analyzer. Could you provide me a little bit more information on how this could be measured while back testing a strategy?
