Help! NT8 stategeis codes are getting overwritten with old data

I have updated my code and exported it from my desktop. Then imported it to the laptop. When I do, the code gets locked again and all my coding reverts back to an older version as if it was the very 1st code.

I removed the strategies.. uninstalled nt8 and removed the docs folder. and still, the data is old. I tried copying and pasting after I unlock the code on my laptop. It compiles the data. When I close and re-open, the code is back to being locked and old code.

I tried saving the code as a new name and I get an error that the file already exists.

Please help.

Where is the program getting the old code that it's re-written the data?

When importing are you clicking yes to overwrite existing files?

Do you have any antivirus software or backup software that may be reverting files back to previous states?
