NinjaTrader Data Location

Hi,

It's possible to change the location Ninjatrader uses for it's data folder using the /D parameter when creating a custom shortcut (previous threads detail how). As this obviously works can it be incorporated more directly into NinjaTrader? NinjaTrader creates a lot of files, especially when using tick data, and I understand this is for data loading performance etc... which is very important but if this location could more easily be set through the gui it would be a valuable feature. When using the /D command it complicates upgrades and isn't a seamless as would otherwise would be through the gui
