Volume within a time bar

Hi
Is there an indicator that simply shows the distribution of volume within a time based bar?
Is this the "footprint" idea?
I simply want to see a one minute bar plotted showing the breakdown of volume at the price levels within the bar.

I dont want anything more complex than this but cant seem to find it.

As you suggested, this would be a Profile type indicator for Volume. NinjaTrader does not have such an indicator pre-loaded but you can search the forums to see if such an indicator is available in the File Sharing section: http://ninjatrader.com/support/forum...splay.php?f=37

While on the topic of volume based indicators

Is there a reason why the Volume profile indicator on NT8 (and NT7) loses its data whenever any chart property is changed?
If this is not able to be rectifed in some setting or other it makes the indicator extremely limited in its functionality - to the point of don't bother with it.'

This is a general comment as I know now there are after market solutions to this (seemingly planned) lack of function.

In NT7, there's no way to display a historical VolumeProfile; it's a real-time only indicator.
In NT8, you must enable Tick Replay to see a historical VolumeProfile: http://ninjatrader.com/support/helpG...indicators.htm
