Reset Sim Data in NT*

Dear Support,

In NT7 it was easy to just reset SIM101 data by simply going through the Options menus as shown in the attached screen shot and click Reset button.

I can not locate in NT8 a similar feature that would provide 1) set up parameters for a SIM account or 2) a "Reset" button for Sim trade data.

The "Reset Data" under the Options in NT8 does not distinguish between Live and Sim trade data and it resets all trade data, both live and sim. How do you just reset Sim trade data and keep the live trade data?

Thank you for your post.


You can adjust the initial cash amount in the Accounts tab of the control center options. Then you will need to reset your simulator account and restart NinjaTrader.



Resetting a simulation account will clear all historical trade data from this account. Please follow the instructions below to edit and reset a simulation account.

• From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the Accounts tab
• Right click on your simulation account and select 'Edit Account'
• Adjust your simulation account settings.
• Press the "Reset" button
• Click OK

Restart NinjaTrader for changes to take effect.
