retrieve deleted custom indicator

I made a dumb error and while trying to rename an indicator, I instead clicked "remove". Any way to retrieve it or is it lost for good? I'll be sure to back it up next time

Unfortunately not, this would be final. The item would not be sent to any kind of recycling bin but would instead just be deleted.

I'm not 100% sure but I think that indicators are stored in the following folder

Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom\Indicators

If you use a file recovery tool (undelete) like "Recuva" and scan that folder you might be able to undelete the file as long as the bits used to store that file on disk havent been used for something else yet.
